Experience
Before Marieke opened Cantare Voice Studio, she taught at colleges in both California and Oregon, conducted church choirs and children's choirs and was a soprano soloist. She has performed with Eugene Opera and was the Chorus Master there for five years. She has performed with other small opera companies and ensembles in Oregon over the past 15 years. Personal
Marieke lives in Eugene, Oregon with her husband Michael. She has two daughters who are currently attending the University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!). For recreation, she and her husband ride their Harley Davidsons throughout the Pacific Northwest and also like to go camping.
